Engineering and Design
Our design engineers are more than component designers but also have many years of system design experience. We understand the complexities and trade-offs system designers must consider and how this translates to an optimally designed SAW device.
COM DEV’s design team includes internationally recognized experts in SAW technology. This in-house expertise not only provides unsurpassed design capabilities but has resulted in industry leading, proprietary SAW design simulation software. Our simulation software allows quick turn-around of custom designs and extremely accurate and reliable simulation data.
Manufacturing
The SAW production area currently encompasses over 3,000 sq. ft. of Class 1,000 clean room and 600 sq. ft. of Class 100 clean room facilities. This area is equipped with wafer cleaning, vapor deposition, photolithography, Plasma Etching, dicing, wire bonding, packaging and testing equipment for SAW devices. Our world-class fabrication facility allows COM DEV to achieve 0.35 micron line width resolutions and uniform metallization down to 300 Angstroms.
